Bit of History:
SOTHIS Uhren AG was founded by Wolfgang Steinkrüger in 1996 in Bielefeld, Germany.
Brand name comes from Greek name of the Egyptian goddess Sopdet(Sothis) who showed the old Egyptians not only the changing of the years, but also the times when the River Nile would be flooded.
By 2012 the brand was acquired by new owners and production was transferred to Switzerland.
