All black with contrasting white hands and date window Swiss Omega quartz model, part of the small limited edition "Art Collection" series featuring black ceramic case and sapphire crystal top and caseback with artwork and signature of the artist.

Bit of History:

Starting in 1986 the "Art Collection" of scratch-resistant ceramic watches was offered by Omega in limited editions of 999 watches, featuring art samples on casebacks and signed by art creators like Max Bill, Richard Paul Lohse, Paul Talman, Camille Graeser, Fritz Glarner, Al Held, Kenneth Noland, Arnaldo Pomodoro and Emilio Tadini. It was made in 3 case size models maxi-40mm, midi-32mm, and mini-22. This peice is signed by Al Held (1928-2005), an American Abstract expressionist painter. He was particularly well known for his large scale Hard-edge paintings.
