Oris Aquis Dat Watt Limited Edition model 01 761 7765 4185-SET. Swiss made Oris Caliber 761 automatic movement with date and pointer-moon functions. Blue dial with polished steel hour markers and hands, plus a lunar cycle and tidal display. Uni-directional bezel with grey brushed ceramic insert. Solid 316L stainless steel case and bracelet with combination polish finish. Sapphire scratch resistant crystal with anti-reflective coating. Diver rated to 300 meters water resistant.

Bit of History:

Dedicated to preserving the Wadden Sea. Unknown to most, it is the largest unbroken tidal flat system in the world. It covers an 11,500km2 area and over 500km of coastline to the north of the Netherlands, Germany and the western part of Denmark.

Uni-Directional rotating, ratcheted, 0-60 Elapsed-Time. Brushed grey ceramic insert.

Dial:

Blue color. Applied polished steel tone markers. Luminous hour markers/dots. The dial displays the lunar cycle and tidal range in the Northern Hemisphere. This works using a central white pointer hand that once aligned with the correct day in the 29.5-day lunar cycle, shows the corresponding tidal range via the white outline on the dial. The same hand indicates the waxing and waning of the moon.
